This request <br />for vacation of drainage and utility easements is related to the lot line <br />rearrangement which was approved by the Council in December. <br />Planning Commission at their January 17, 1989 meeting recommended or a <br />vote of 7-0 to approve the requested vacation, finding that: <br />1) vacation does not affect access or or use of any adjoining <br />property, <br />2) the City has not and does not intend to develop, improve or use the <br />portions of dedicated drainage and utility easements in question, <br />3) the portions of dedicated drainage and utility easements in <br />question serve no public purpose, <br />4) the portions of dedicated drainage and utility easements as a <br />result of a recent lot line rearrangement no longer coincide with the <br />boundaries between the properties at 2340 and 2380 Abingdon Way, <br />5) the property owners have granted similar drainage and utility <br />easements over the new iot lines. <br />Staff Recommendation - <br />Staff recommends approval of the drainage and utility easement <br />vacation request, based on the above findings, per the attached resolution. <br />
