545 Indian Mound
Wayzata, Minnesota 55391
(612)473-4224
July 27, 1979
Mr. Wheeler
Wheeler Construction
Re: Percolation Test and Soil Borings
Dear Mr. Wheeler:
Enclosed is information requested for an on -site sewage
treatment system. The drainfield information was based on
percolation tests and soil borings performed July 18 through
July 20.
t O6 S
The soils on .the site include Hamel loam. The average
percolation rate for the primary field is 9.4 minutes per
inch and 26.4 minutes per inch for the secondary field.
The locations of the percolation test holes, soil borings,
and the proposed drainfield areas are indicated in Figure 1.
The individual percolation rates are given in Table 1 and the
soil boring logs are given in Table 2.
Because of the high water table a mound system with dosing
distribution is recommended for the site. I have enclosed
plans and specifications for such a system.
Stated percolation rates are averaged for the locations shown
and no guarantee is implied or expressed that these conditions
exist for the entire area.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact
me.
Sincerely,
EUGENE A.
