NO. 1338 .. <br /> � �;-.�• ' <br /> � - � �`_' ADOPTING THE 1980 CITY OF ORONO <br /> COMMUNITY MANAGEMENT PLAN <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation located <br /> within Hennepin Counfy and within the planning jurisdiction of the <br /> Metropolitan Council of the Twin Cities Region, and ' <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with the Metropolitan Land Planning <br /> Act of 1976 and with Minnesota Statutes Chapters 462 and 473, the City <br /> of Orono has prepared a comprehensive municipal plan, which plan has <br /> been reviewed by the public, City commissions and officials, adjacent <br /> municipalities and other affected jurisdictions, and by the Metropolitan <br /> Council; and <br /> WHEREAS, in Resolutions 81-128 adopted June 25, 1981, and <br /> 81-176 adopted September 10, 1981, the Metropoli.tan Council has founcl � <br /> Orono' s 1980 Community Management Plan to be in full conformity with <br /> all Metropolitan Systems Plans, and no plan modifications were required <br /> pursuant to Minnesota•Statutes 473, 175 subd. 1; and <br /> .--. <br /> • WHEREAS, the City has received official letters of review � �� <br /> and comment from the Metropolitan Council, Metropolitan Waste Control <br /> Commission, Metropolitan Transit Commission, Minnesota Department of � <br /> Transportation, Hennepin County, Orono and Minnetonka School Districts, <br /> and from five adjacent municipalities; and � . <br /> WHEREAS, the City has reviewed all of these comments and has <br /> incorporated their suggestions plus the final 1980 census results into <br /> a November 1981 updated edition of the 1980 Community Management P1an. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the <br /> City of Orono hereby formally adopts the November 1981 edition of the <br /> 1980 City of Orono Community Management Plan as the official comprehensive <br /> municipal plan pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Section 462 ,355 . This <br /> plan shall also be known and cited as the Community Management Plan or <br /> CMP. ' <br /> The intents, purposes and policies of the CMP shall be <br /> implemented by the ordinances of the City, which ordinances shall � <br /> hereafter be amended as necessary to be in conforraance with the <br /> objectives of this plan. <br /> . <br />
