C. The Village Park and Recreational Director <br />shall designate and properly post those <br />areas in public lands, parks and beaches <br />where rIor3cs may be ridden and driven. <br />d. Every_ persori riding a horse rr driving <br />a horse drawn vehicle upon a public road- <br />way shall be subject to those provisions <br />of the Village Code applicable to the <br />driver of a motor vehicle, except those <br />provisions which by their nature have <br />no application. <br />e. No person shall interf^re with any horse <br />being ridden, driver or kept in a lawful <br />manner. <br />110.90. Livestock Commission. The Village Council <br />hereby authorizes the establishment of a Livestock Commissicn <br />to assist the Village Clerk in inspection of the premises <br />of those seeking a horse permit, to receive complaints from <br />those aggrieved by animal owners or k,2epers, to investigate <br />complaints, to advise animal oVn,crs against whom complaints <br />have been lodged and to advise the Village Council as to <br />appropriate action. <br />The Village Council shall appoint three persons to the <br />Livcstock Commission, including, when pojisible, a repre- <br />sentati•-2 of the largest local horse -oriented association <br />or club, a veterinarian, and any other person the Village <br />Council feels is qualified to serve. 2;ach member s0al:i <br />serve a two year term vlithout compensation and shall be <br />eligible for reappointment at the Lnd of that term. <br />The Livestocl; Commission shall make recommendations to <br />the Village Council on requests or ether matters re- <br />duirinq Council action, v hich arise under this Chapter <br />or other applicable Ordinances or Statutes. <br />110.100. Cruelty to Animals. Minnesot atutcs <br />346.21-346.26 relating to cruelty to animals .,2e hereby <br />adopted and incorporated herein by reference ;nd made a <br />part hereof. <br />110.110. Violations. Every person convicted of a <br />violation of any of the provisions of this ordinance <br />shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and punished by a fine <br />of not more than $300.00 or by imprisonment for a period <br />of not more than 90 days or both, but in either case the <br />costs of prosecution may be adde•i. <br />Section 2.
