City of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. <br />RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE <br />PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT TO <br />POST 2 HOUR PARKING ALONG <br />THE SOUTH AND WWT SIDE OF <br />THE NAVARRE PARKING LOT <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono owns and maintains the <br />Municipal parking lot in the Navarre area; and <br />WHEREAS, the parking lot is for the convenience of the <br />Navarre business area; and <br />WHEREAS, the construction of County Road 15 will <br />adversely affect the ability of the Navarre business customers <br />entry to their places of business; and <br />WHEREAS, there is a demonstrated need to provide <br />adequate parking for their customers. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Orono Council <br />does hereby authorize and direct the Orono Public Works <br />Department to post 2 hour parking along the south and west side <br />of the Navarre parking lot. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Orono at a <br />regular Council meeting held on April 25, 1988. <br />ATTEST: <br />Dorothy M.
