REGULAR MEETING OF THE ORONO COUNCIL APRIL 25, 1977 <br />Council Meeting - April 25, 1977 <br />Butler moved, welsh seconded, to approve the <br />variance re,,uest of William Odden, 3450 North <br />Shore Drive, per the Planning Commission <br />minutes of April 18, 1977, subject to attorney's <br />review and approval of easements. Motion, <br />Ayes (3) - Nays (0). <br />Henry Muhich, Building 6 Zoning Administrator, <br />read into the record the following request <br />for riprap of Charles Pihl, 2605 North Shore <br />Drive: <br />Mr. Charles Pihl, 2605 North Shore Drive, <br />requests to riprap shoreline to prevent further <br />erosion. The applicant wants to continue the <br />riprap from the neighbor's property line to the <br />creek along the west side of his property. <br />A copy of the plan has been sent to our engineer <br />for review. <br />Planning Commission Meeting - April 18, 1977 <br />Recoa nd approval subject to City Engineer's <br />approval. <br />Staff - April 20, 1977 <br />Mr. Greg Frank, City Engineer, recommended <br />approval. <br />Council Meeting - April 25, 1977 <br />Butler moved, Welsh seconded, to a. -jve the <br />riprap request of Charles Pihl, 76' irth Shore <br />Drive, per the Planning Commission minutes of <br />April V , 1977. Motion, Ay-% (3) - Nays (0). <br />8:45 P.M. <br />At this time, City Administrator Dick Benson was <br />notified by Police Sergeant James Franklin that <br />they had received an anonymous call that a bomb <br />would go off in 15 minutes in the Police Building <br />or other buildings on the premises. <br />Mayer Van Nest was notified and the Council <br />Chamber@ were vacated. while waiting in the <br />parking lot, it was decided and announced <br />d be <br />the public that the Council meeting unc <br />resumed at 7:00 P.M.
