A RESOLUTION GRANTING <br />A VARIANCE. TO <br />MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br />SECTION 10.22, SUBDIVISION 2 <br />FILE, t1259 <br />WHEREAS, William Odden (hereinafter "the applicant") is <br />owner of the property located at 3450 Nerth ShGre Drive within the <br />City of Orono (hereinafter "City") and legally described as follows: <br />The following property lying within the plat of <br />"Lydiards Park" Lake Minnetonka, .'..rn pin County, <br />Minnesota: <br />The Southwesterly 25 feet of the SL ,.3sterly 1/2 <br />of Lot 17 and that part of the Nor_reasterly 1/2 <br />of Lot 18 lying Southeasterly of a line parallel <br />with and distant 197.5 feet Northwesterly from the <br />base line as shown on said plat, Lots 17 and 18; <br />(hereinafter "the property"); and <br />WHEREAS, the applicant has applied to the City for a <br />variance to Municipal Zoning Code Section 10.22, Subdivision 2 to <br />permit the construction of a detached garage which will constitue <br />hardcover in the 75-250' lakeshore setback zone in excess of the 25% <br />hardcover normally allowed. <br />Minnesota: <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono, <br />FINDINGS <br />1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File #1259. <br />2. The property is located in the LR-IC Single Family Lakeshore <br />Residential Zcning District. <br />3. The Orono Planning Commission reviewed this application on <br />,1pri1 18, 1988, and recommended approval of the proposed variance <br />hased upon the following findings: <br />a.
