Wayzata School District Letter Dated 3/14/88 <br />B. Scnool District Boundaries - City of Orono <br />ISSUE <br />1. Determination as to how the City of Orono desires to fill its <br />specified vacancy on the Wayzata School District Community <br />Education Board. <br />INTRODUCTION - The City of Orono apparently has one appointment <br />to_the_Wayzata Community Education Board given the area of Orono <br />that is in the District. The Community Education Board is <br />primarily responsible for other than the K through 12 education <br />put on by the School District, such as adult education, special <br />interest classes outside regilar hours, etc. This is the first <br />time that an appointment to a Community Education Board has been <br />brought to the City's attenticn in the last three years. <br />ALTERNATIVES - <br />1. Selection as Mr. Gerber as the Orono designee on this Board. <br />2. Advertise and seek other individuals who may be interested. <br />3. Table for further discussion. <br />RECOMMENDATION - It is recommended that Mr. Gerber be selected <br />to- _Orono'_s_ vacancy on this Board. <br />PROPOSED MOTION - Moved by , seconded by , that Mr. Walter <br />Gerber be the appointee for the City of Orono to the Wayzata <br />Community Education Board.
