A new <br /> home was never built & the current applicant purchased the vacant lot. In 2009, the City granted a <br /> conditional use permit for fill to restore the property and blend it into the existing grades of the owner's <br /> adjacent residence lot. The applicant chose not to proceed at that time and the approvals expired. The <br /> current proposal is only moderately different than what was approved in 2009. The applicant is requesting <br /> CUO approval to import approximately 2,267 cubic yards of fill in order to restore the grade of the property. <br /> A portion of the fill material is already on or near the site. Administrative permits were issued to allow the <br /> applicant to bring in 500 cubic yards of fill to each of his properties in order to take advantage of material <br /> from a nearby home under construction.
