� � `;� - , � � Cit� of ORONO RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL • NO. 1306 � � • • � � THIRD AMENDMENT TO THE 198Q FEE SCHEDULE WHEREAS, � Resolution 1128 established a uniform fee schedule for the year 1980; and WHEREAS, Resolution 1128 includes provisions for instituting new fees and for changing listed fees upon adoption of a subsequent resolution; and � WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that the following changes must be made in the 1980 fee schedule so that the rates charged will continue to reimburse the City for direct operating expenses; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Orono that Resolution 1128 the 1980 fee schedule is hereby amended as follows : A. Page 3 - Zoning Applications - add: • AFTER THE FACT APPLICATION FEES Amount: �asic Fee whenever any work, use or division of land for which a formal application is required has been commenced without first making such application and receiving City approval therefore, a special investigation of the� circumstances shall be made during the application process. Because of the extra administrative costs in- volved in the special investigation, the minimum applicaton fee for after-the-fact applications shall be twice the fee set forth in the basic fee schedule, . whether or not the application is thereafter approved or denied. Payment of an after-the-fact applicaton fee shall not constitute approval or authorization of the work, use or division of land, and shall not con- stitute a penalty or a waiver of the right of the City to institute �civil or criminal legal actions against the applicant for commencina such work, use vr division of land without the required prior approval of the City. After-the-fact application fees shall apply to the following application types : Variances Conditional use permits • Subdivision applications . Special improvement review fees ,� Rip Ra,p Zoning Amendments Grading permits . . Moving permits � � All Building and/or G�neral permits
