i ��; ` Ci.t� of ORONO RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL 1295 NO. • � � � APPROVING PL�NS AND SPECIFICATIONS AND ORDERING AllVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS FOR Nt�RTH SHORE DRIVE/HIGHWOOD AREA SANITARY SEWER PROJECT 81-1 WHEREAS, pursuant to Resolution #1288 of the Orono City Council as adopted on June 22 , 1981 , the City Engineer has prepared � plans and specifications for the improvement of certain Iots in the North Shore Drive/Highwood Area by installation of a Municipal Sanitary Sewer, and has presented such plans and specifications to the City Council for approval; and WHEREAS, said plans and specifications sha11 be modified in accordance with the direc�ion of Resolution #1294 ; and WHEREAS, the North Shore Drive/Highwood Area project sha11 � henceforth be designated as Sanitary Sewer Project 8�-1 . � NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Orono, Minnesota : 1 . Such plans and specifications , dated July 13 , 1981 , a copy of .which is attached hereto and made a part hereof , are hereby approved. 2 . The City Clerk sha11 prepare and cause to be in- serted in the official newspaper and in the Construction Bulletin an advertisement for bids upon the making of such improvements under such approved plans and specifications. The advertisement shall be published at least 10 days prior to bid npening, shall specify the work to be done, sha11 state that bids wi11 be received by the Clerk until 10 :00 A.M. an Friday, August 7 , 1981 , at which time they w.ill be publicly opened in the Orono Council Chambers , 1275 Brown Road So. by the City Clerk and Engineer, will then be tabu- lated and will be considered by the Council at 7 :00 P.M. on Monday, August 10 , 1981 in the Council Chambers , and shall state that no bids wi11 be considered unless sealed and fileci with the Clerk � and accompanied by a cash deposit, cashiers check, bid bond or certified check payable to the Clerk for five percent of the amount of such bid.
