May 26, 1987 <br />RESOLUTION NO. 87- <br />RESOLUTION RECEIVING FEASIBILITY REPORT, ORDERING <br />IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS FOR WATERMAIN <br />REPLACEMENT IN SHORELINE BOULEVARD FROM <br />FAIRVIEW LANE TO FERNSIDE LANE <br />WHEREAS, pursuant to resolution #87-72 adopted by the Council on April <br />14, 1987, a report has been prepared by McCombs -Knutson A,asociates, Inc., the <br />City Engineers, with refererr_e to the replacement of the existing watermain in <br />Shoreline Blvd. between Fairview Lane and Fernside Lane; and <br />WHEREAS, this report was received by the Council on May 12, 1967; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer has recommended replacement of said <br />existing watermain; and <br />WHEREAS, the estimated cost of $55,000 for said replacement would be <br />paid from the City water fund, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Mound, Minnesota: <br />1. Such improvement is hereby ordered as proposed In feasibility <br />report dated May 7, 1987. <br />2. McCombs -Knutson is hereby designated as the Engineer for this <br />improvement and shall prepare plans and specifications for making <br />of such improvements. <br />Adopted by the Council this 26th day of May, 1987. <br />Mayor <br />Attest: City Clerk <br />IV-7Y <br />
