Gerhardson, Public Works Director <br />DATE: March 8, 1988 <br />SUBJ: Appointment of Chair & Vice Chairman - Orono Planning <br />Commission <br />The Planning Commission consists of seven members, of the seven <br />members one person is appointed Chair and one as Vice Chair. <br />These positions are for a one year period on an alternating <br />basis. <br />The current Vice Chair Maureen Bellows has indicated that she <br />would rather serve as Vice Chair for another term rather than <br />accept the Chair position at this time due to time availability. <br />Current Chair Charles Kelley has indicated an interest in <br />remaining as Chair for another term due to the fact that the <br />balance of the members have served a minimal amount of time on <br />the Commission. <br />Recommendation - To appoint Charles Kelley as Chair and Maureen <br />Bellows as Vice Chair of the Planning Commision from March 1988 <br />to March 1989. <br />PROPOSED MOTION: moved, seconded, to appoint Charles <br />Kelley as Chair and Maureen Bellows as Vice Chair of the Planning_ <br />Commission from March 1988 to March 1989.
