City of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. . � -56 L <br />A RESOLUTION ORDERING ABATEMENT <br />OF HAZARDOUS BUILDING ACTION AT <br />3017 NORTH SHORE DRIVE, ORONO <br />GREENHOUSE - VACANT <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized <br />and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, Helen Deaver Ross, c/o 1st National Bank of Minneapolis, <br />P.O. Box A700, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55480 is the fee owner of record of <br />property located at 3017 North Shore Drive, Orono Minnesota, a.►d legally <br />desr-ri-ed as follows: <br />Property Identification Number: 09-117-23 32 0002 <br />Lots 5 to 10 inclusive, Coronado Beach, Lake Minnetonka, Orono, <br />Hennepin County, Minnesota, (herein,-. `ter "the property"); and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council o_ Lhe City of Orono, having duly <br />considered the matter pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Sections 463.15 to <br />463.261, hereby finds that the above described property is uninhabitable <br />and contains unsanitary and hazardous conditions which constitute a public <br />nuisance and which makes this property hazardous to the public health, <br />safety and welfare based on the following findings: <br />INTERIOR <br />1. Foundation/Footings: UBC 2907 (a) - extends 3" to 4" above grade. <br />2. Beams: UBC 2516 - within 6" of earth. <br />3. Joists: UBC 2516 (C)(7) - floor joist within 6" cf earth and in a <br />deteriorates' state. <br />REAR/SIDE ENTRY <br />4. Floor: UBC 2517 (C)(7) - not maintained and exposed to weather. <br />5.
