Mabusth, Building & Zoning Administrator <br />Date: January 11, 1988 <br />Subject: #1238 Wayzata Country Club, 200 Wayzata Boulevard <br />Condition Use Permit/Variance - Public Hearing <br />Pertinent Ordinances: <br />Section 10.20, Subdivision 3 (C) - Conditional use permit for golf <br />course/country club - all accessory structures must be 50' from all <br />lot lines. <br />Required = 50' <br />Proposed = 55' from Luce Line, <br />140' from adjacent residential lot line <br />Section 10.03, Subdivision 9 (C) - No accessory structure shall exceed <br />1,000 s.f. of floor area. <br />Allowed = 1,000 s.f. <br />Proposed = 2,704 s.f. Structures <br />Exhibit G - Survey <br />Review of Application - <br />The country club proposes the installation of a "metal pole barn" <br />structure along the west side of their property adjacent to the Wakefield <br />Farms ne.ghborhood. Per the attached spec sheet, the structure will be <br />dark brown and 14' in height. The pole barn will be used as additional <br />storage for maintenance equipment and greens keeping equipment. A concrete <br />slab foundation will also be installed. Access to the structure will be <br />via an existing access road over the Luce Line located near an existing <br />maintenance building and garage on the south side of the Luce Line (see <br />survey, Exhibit G). The building will be located near the site used for <br />burning shrubs and trees for those who hike the trail and are familar with <br />the area. We have received no calls from the surrounding property owners <br />regarding this land use application. <br />
