He has performed well during his tenure here. <br />I request his vacation accrual rate be adjusted to reflect his <br />11 year of service which begins March 11, 1988. <br />Officer Irving "Chip" English will at:tiin his 3 year anniversary <br />on February 11, 1988. Chip has devF"_,;,od well, receiving commen- <br />dations and compliments for his seivi,.z. He is currently working <br />on an alcohol and drug awareness prCL:=:am for school age children. <br />I request he be raised from the 2 year level ($2365), 187 contract, <br />to $2628, the 3 year level, 187 contract, effective February 11, <br />1988. <br />TO: Mayor and City Council <br />��lROM: Mark Bernhardson, City Administrator��, <br />Forwarded recommending approval as being in accordance with the <br />1987 contract. <br />PROPOSED MOTION - Moved by , seconded by _, that the Orono <br />City Council approves the increase in vacation accrual from 120 <br />hours per year to 144 hours per year for Bruce Anderson effective <br />March 1, 1988,-and increase in the hourly wage rate for Chip <br />English from $ 13.645 to $ 15.161, in accordance with the 1987 <br />contract effective February 11, 1988.
