Private Access Over Public Right -of -Way Memo <br />Dated 12/17/87 <br />ISSUE - Providing the Council with updated information regarding <br />the status of problem identified on Baldur Park Road as it <br />relates to private access and public right-of-way. <br />INTRODUCTION - As noted, at the January 11, 1988 Council meeting <br />In Attachment A, Baldur Park is among a number of potential <br />problem areas the City his where there is public right-of-way but <br />no public streets. When presented on January llth it was <br />requested that it be tabled until the first meeting in February <br />in an effort to solicit any general comments or thoughts that the <br />Council may have regarding the general issue outlined in <br />Attachment A together with anticipating some movement by the <br />parties on Baldur Park Road. In a telephone conversation on <br />February 2, 1988 the property owner who had raised the issue <br />indicated that nothing further has been done by the neighborhood <br />to date and in that conversation staff was able to clarify with <br />the homeowner some issues related to construction of public <br />streets and condemnation of properties for right-of-way. <br />RECOMMENDATION - It is recommended that the Council make any <br />additional comments they have regarding either the Baldur Park <br />situation specifically or other issues raised in Attachment A <br />generally and that it again be tabled to be brought back at the <br />March 28, 1988 meeting. <br />PROPOSED MOTION - Moved by , seconded by , that the Council <br />table further discussion of -this issue untll March 28, 1988. <br />Ayes _ , Nays __ <br />cc: John Gerhardson, Public Works Director <br />Jeanne Mabusth, Building and Zoning Administrator <br />
