During this inspection the following problems were <br />found: <br />1. Improper cover over mound - found 4"+ of clay over mound - code <br />requires 12" sandy loam plus 6" of top soil, see encloser. <br />2. Electrical connections incorrect - must be in a water- tight box - <br />see encloser. <br />3. Pump float set wrong - float was hung up on pump and was running <br />dry, may have been that way for months.* If early pump failure occurs, <br />this is no doubt the cause. <br />We spoke on the phone about these problems shortly after this <br />inspection. On July 26, 1989, a follow-up inspection was conducted. I <br />probed the mound again and found it to st**!! be short of cover. This <br />letter is to notify you that cover mu»> to the mound the <br />electrical connections and floats must be uv,;vr*;cea and reinspected before <br />August 7, 1989.
