City of ORONO <br />1k <br />1 . <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. <br />A RESOLUTION ORDERING ABATEMENT <br />OF HAZARDOUS BUILDING ACTION AT <br />3865 SHORELINE DRIVE, ORONO <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized <br />and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, Louis R. Oberhauser, 2425 Dunwoody Avenue, Wayzata, <br />Minnesota 55391 is the fee owner of record and John Olson, 3865 Shoreline <br />Drive, Wayzata, Minnesota 55391 has an interest in the propertylocated at <br />3865 Shoreline Drive, Orono Minnesota, and legally described as follows: <br />Property Identification Number: 20-117-23 22 0007 <br />Commencing at the Northeast corner of Lot 2 thence West 163 feet along <br />the North line of Lots 2 and 1 thence at an angle to the left of 52 <br />degrees 56 minutes to the shore of Lake Minnetonka thence <br />Southeasterly along lake shore to a point 50 feet Northwesterly from <br />the most Southerly corner of Lot 2 thence Northeasterly parallel with <br />the Southeasterly line of Lot 2 to the Northeasterly line thereof <br />thence Northwesterly 5 feet to beginning Lots I and 2, Block 8, <br />Townsite of Langdon Park, Orono, Hennepin County, Minnesota, <br />(hereinafter "the property"); and <br />aHER EAS, the City Council of the City of Orono, having duly <br />considered the matter pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Sections 463.15 to <br />463.261, hereby finds that the above described property is uninhabitable <br />and contains unsanitary and hazardous conditions which constitute a public <br />nuisance and which makes this property hazardous to the public health, <br />safety and welfare bases'.- on the following findings: <br />INTERIOR <br />1. Banement: crawl space with no access. <br />2. Fuses (two): over current protection not enough - NFPA 70 Art <br />24D.4. <br />3. 60 amp service not sufficient cize service- NFPA 70 Art 230-79. <br />4. Wiring Type: extention cords used for permanent wiring, is a <br />fire hazard per UFC 85.107. <br />5. Light Fixtures: ceiling Iightinn fixtures not orovided or <br />inoperable - NFPA 70 Art 210-70 (a). <br />6.
