City of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. <br />A RESOLUTION ORDERING ABATEMENT <br />OF HAZARDOUS BUILDING ACTION AT <br />3440 BAYSIDE ROAD, ORONO <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized <br />and existing under the laws of the.State of Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, Dan Vaughan, 1265 Shoreline Drive, Wayzata, Minnesota <br />55391, and Todd and Marie Ziesmer, 10890 South Shore Drive, Plymouth, <br />Minnesota 55441 are the fee owners of the property located at 3440 Bayside <br />Road, Orono, Minnesota, herein referred to as "the property% and legally <br />described as follows: <br />Lot 20, Auditor's Subdivision No. 203, West 1/2 by distance and <br />North 273.Q feet of East 1/2 by distance, Hennepin County, <br />Minnesota, (hereinafter "the property"); and <br />WHEREAS, the City Cot, -il of the City of Orono, having duly <br />considered the matter pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Sections 463.15 to <br />463.261, hereby finds that the above described property is uninhabit-hle <br />and contains unsanitary and hazardous conditi-;s which constitute a pub.Lic <br />nuisance and which makes this property hazardous to the rublic health, <br />safety and welfare based on the following findings: <br />INTERIOR <br />BAaRmAnt <br />1. Foundation - No access. <br />2. Walls- No insulation, sheet rock damaged. <br />3. Ceilings - Sheet rock falling from ceiling. <br />EXTERIOR <br />4. Exterior Walls - Second floor completely removed, no roof for <br />protection of ir.tcricr UBC 3202(a). <br />5. si_ - Weathered and deteriorating UBC 2516(a). <br />6.
