MINUTES OF THE REGULAR ORONO COUNCIL MEETING HELD JANUARY 11, 1988 <br />HAZARDOUS BUILDING PROCEEDINGS CONTINUED <br />Lot 4, Block 5, Bergquist & Wicklunds Park - Garage - <br />Foundation - large cracks <br />Dennis Meyer, owner of the property was present for <br />this matter. He submitted photos of the garage. He <br />requested that the hazardous building proceedings be <br />tabled for 30 days to give him the opportunity to <br />have an engineer assess the structure. <br />Building Official Jacobs felt a 30 day delay would <br />not be a problem. <br />It was moved by Mayor Grabek, seconded by <br />Councilmember Callahan, to adopt Resolution i2353 <br />ordering the abatement of Hazardous Building Action <br />at Lot 4, Block 5, Bergquist & Wicklunds Park <br />subject to holding the action in abeyance for 30 <br />days. Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />1065 Linden Lane - Single Family Dwelling - <br />Deteriorate con ition through out <br />Building Official Jacobs reported that the owner of <br />the property has contacted the Mound Fire Dept to <br />schedule the removal of the structure. They would <br />like to remove the structure in May, however, he <br />recommended a deadline date of March 1, 1988. <br />It was moved by Mayor Grabek, seconded by <br />Councilmember Sime, to adopt Resolution #2352 <br />ordering the abatement of Hazardous Building Action <br />at 1065 Linden Lane suhject to holding the action in <br />abeyance for 45 days. Motion, Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />3440 Bayside Road - Single Family Dwelling - <br />2nd floor removed - deteriorated condition <br />Building Official Jacobs requested this matter be <br />tabled. He explained that notification of this <br />action was not given to the current owner of the <br />property. <br />It was moved by Councilmember Sime, <br />Councilmember Peterson, to table this <br />the January 25, 1988 Council in order <br />current owner of the property regarding <br />hazardous building action. Motion, Aye <br />11 <br />seconded by <br />matter until <br />to notify the <br />the proposed <br />s 4, Nays 0. <br />
