Agreement No. PW 74-08-87 <br />by this reference made a part hereof; and <br />WHEREAS. It is contemplated that said work be carried out by the parties hereto <br />under the provisions of M.S. SEC. 162.17, Subd. 1 and SEC. 471.59. <br />NOW THEREFORE. IT IS HEREBY AGREED: <br />I <br />That the County or its agents will adve-tise for bids for the work and <br />construction of the aforesaid Project No. 8024. receive and open bids pursuant to said <br />advertisement end enter into a contract with the successful bidder at the unit prices <br />specified in the bid of such bidder, according to law in such case provided for <br />counties. The contract will be in form and will include the plans and specifications <br />prepared by the County or its agents, which said plans and specifications are by this <br />reference made a part hereof. <br />II <br />The County will administer the contract and ,nspect the construction of the <br />contract work contemplated herewith. However, the City Engineer of Orono snall <br />cooperate with the County Engineer and his staff at their request to the extent <br />necessary, but will have no responsibility for the supervision of she work. <br />III <br />The City agrees to grant highwzy easements to the County over those lands owned <br />by the City that are a part of the required right of way for said Project No. 8024. <br />Said easements shall be granted at no cost to the County. <br />
