Lwk- %nnetonka <br />January 5, 1988 <br />Richard 6 Susan Hoium <br />3140 Bayside Road <br />Long Lake, MN 55356 <br />RE: 3440 Bayside Road - Hazardous Building Action <br />Dear Mr. 6 Mrs. Hoium, <br />I conducted an inspection at the above subject property which <br />vevealed that the structure (single family dwelling) on the <br />property has been left in a hazardous condition. <br />On August 4, 1986, you applied and received a demoliticr, permit <br />for the removal of ti-.e second f loor. At that time you were <br />working on plans to reconstruct the building. I had heard <br />nothing about correcting the problem until I posted the structure <br />as dangerous. <br />At this time I recieveci a call from you. During our <br />conversation, you explained to me that you intended to remove the <br />structure right away. I then received a call that you could not <br />afford to complete the work. <br />After reviewing the matter, the City has no alternative but t,n <br />initiate hazardous builidng action to remove the structure. <br />This matter will be review;d by the City Council at the January <br />11, 1988 Council meeting al.d acted on if they fePl it is <br />appropriate.
