City of ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO. <br />A RESOLUTION ORDERING ABATEMENT <br />OF HAZARDOUS BUILDING ACTION AT <br />1950 SHORELINE DRIVE, ORONO <br />CABIN 1 - SOUTH EDGE OF LOT <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono is a municipal corporation organized <br />and existing under the laws of the State of Minnesota; and <br />WHEREAS, Cerald Toberman of Shelard Tower, Minneapolis, MN is the <br />fee owner of reco d of the property located at 1950 Shoreline Drive, <br />Orono, Minnesota, herein referred to as "the property", and legally <br />described as follows: <br />P.I.D. 10-117-23 42 0012 Lots 22 and 23 and that kart of Lake <br />Street lying between the extensions of the side lines of said <br />lots and between the front line of said lots and Northwesterly <br />line of the right-of-way of County Road No. 7 Lots 22 and 23, <br />"Ora Park on Lake Minnetonka", Hennepin County, Minnesota, <br />'hereinafter "the property"); and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono, having duly <br />considered the matter pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Sections 463.15 to <br />463.261, hereby finds that the above described property is uninhabitable <br />and contains unsanitary and hazardous conditions which constitute a public <br />nuisance and which makes this property hazardous to the public health, <br />safety and welfare based on the follc•-ping findings: <br />INTERIOR <br />Basement <br />1. Foundation - Appears footing and foundation do not exist. UBC <br />2907(a). <br />2. Wall, - No access. <br />3. Ceilings - No access. <br />First Floor <br />EXTERIOR <br />4. Exterior walls - Log wall within 6" from earth, no protection from <br />rotting. UBC 2516 C 7. <br />5. Doors - Landing at back door made with untreated wood, no <br />protection from rot.
