Purpose: <br />To elect the HRA Officers. <br />2. Background: <br />The Bylaws of the Housing and Redevelopment Authority (HRA) provide for a meeting to be <br />held annually at which time the officers are elected. Article II of the bylaws of the HRA <br />identify the five members of the City Council as Commissioners and designate the City's <br />Finance Director, as the Secretary and non -voting member of the HRA. Historically the <br />Mayor and Acting -Mayor have filled the positions of Chair and Vice -Chair. If the Council <br />wishes to continue this practice, The 2025 officers would be: <br />The recommended officers are: <br />a) Chair — Bob Tunheim <br />b) Vice -Chair — Alisa Benson <br />c) Secretary — Maggie Jin <br />The HRA bylaws are attached for reference. The bylaws were last amended February of <br />2019. <br />3. Staff Recommendation: <br />Staff recommends making a motion to elect officers for the HRA. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Motion to elect the officers of the HRA as presented. <br />Exhibits <br />A.
