AGENDA ITEM <br />Date: August 11, 2025 <br />Title: Annual Appointments - Resolution 7603 <br />Presenter: Christine Lusian, City Clerk <br />Section: Consent Agenda <br />Purpose: <br />The purpose of this action item is to amend the appointments. <br />Item: 3 <br />2. Background: <br />The framework of services we provide is directed by a law or rule and tends to be cyclical and <br />predictable. Cities are required by laws and other authorities to complete certain tasks ahead of <br />specific deadlines. The League of Minnesota Cities (LMC) provides a calendar of important dates <br />as an easy -to -follow guide. <br />Tasks include formally and publicly assigning city officials to groups that steer the direction, <br />vision, and goals of the city, like commissions, boards, and committees. Another important task is <br />to list where city funds are deposited for transparency and to avoid conflicts of interest. <br />The attached resolution provides an updated list of each duty, the authority it is directed, and the <br />proposed appointment or designation. <br />3.
