CITY OF ORONO <br />RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />NO.7602 <br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING <br />ORONO GARDEN CLUB <br />PARK SIGNS DONATION <br />WHEREAS, the City of Orono is authorized by Minn. Stat. § 465.03 to accept donations of <br />property for the benefit of its people and is specifically authorized to accept gifts; and <br />WHEREAS, the Orono Garden Club wishes to make a donation to the City of Orono ("City") for <br />the purchase of park signs; and <br />WHEREAS, the value of this donation is $2,995; and <br />WHEREAS, the donation has been donated to Orono for the benefit of its residents; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is appropriate to accept the donation. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Orono City Council gratefully accepts the <br />donation of $2,995 to be used specifically for park signs. <br />FURTHER, City of Orono will acknowledge receipt of the donation and express appreciation to <br />the Orono Garden Club. <br />Adopted by the City Council of Orono, Minnesota at a regular meeting held on August 11, 2025. <br />ATTEST: <br />CITY OF ORONO <br />Christine Lusian, City Clerk Bob Tunheim, Mayor <br />140 <br />
