Gerhardson, Public Works DirectoffOUNCIL MEETING <br />Date: November 6, 1989 NOV 13 1989 <br />Subject: Review Previous Action Tax Forfeit Lands CITY OF ORONO <br />In 1979 the City of Orono received notice from Hennepin <br />County of tax forfeit lands in the City. The normal procedure <br />was to determine whether or not the land could be used for public <br />purposes. After review it was determined to release P.I.D. #07- <br />117-23 23 0013 for public sale by Resolution #1046. Recently a <br />representative of the Fairview Covenant Church has requested the <br />City rescind their previous action and designate the land for <br />park and recreation use.
