Small Park Projects and Improvements <br />• Dead trees 8t branch trimming at most parks. (Increase in parks' operating budget <br />for tree removal and replanting.) <br />• Planting new trees to replace removed trees. <br />• Mulch replacement at Bederwood and French Creek bench areas, refresh at other <br />parks that have a wood playground base. <br />• Bederwood, Hackberry, Navarre, and Casco Beach need updated bike racks. <br />• Need to replace park hours signs at almost every park, for consistent branding, <br />accurate hours, and possible QR code enhancements. <br />• A park history station could be added at Seven Nations Park. <br />• Addition of additional pollinator gardens at some of the parks and other city sites. <br />• Addition of dedicated landscaping for new park signs. <br />There were many small maintenance improvements that were targeted for the parks <br />some addressed already and some scheduled to be completed. <br />The lake access points sub -committee is also currently evaluating those sites for <br />improvements and standards and will present a plan once completed. Improvements <br />in this area are also ongoing with city staff. <br />
