MINUTES OF THE ORONO COUNCIL MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 25, 1989 COUNTY ROAD 116 CONTINUED striping of a separate bike path. ',erhardson said that the shoulder would allow for joint use. Bernhardson noted that it would cost approximately $19,000.00 to construct a detached bike path. Acting Mayor Callahan said that it ppeared to him that there would be some budget constraints. Councilmember Goetten questioned whether money would be returned to the City if the right-of-way cost was less than estimated. Bernhardson said yes, the City's share of the cost would be less if the right-of-way costs were less than $130,000.00. Mr. Polaczyk rioted that the right-of-way cost could also increase, which in turn would increase the City's cost. It was moved by Acting Mayor Callahan, seconded by Councilmember Nettles, to table this matter until the next Council meeting and to .direct staff to draft a resolution including the cost to the City of Orono for the right-of-way. Motion, Ayes=4, Nays=O, Motion passed. CGNSENT AGENDA* It was moved by Councilmember Goetten, seconded by Councilmember Peterson, to approve the Consent Agenda. Motion, Ayes=4, Nays=O, Motion passed. APPPROVAL OF MINUTES* It was moved by Councilmember Goetten, seconded by Councilmember Peterson, to approve the Minutes of the September 11, 1989 Regular Council Meeting. Motion, Ayes=4, Nays=O, Mction passed. PLANNING COMMISSION COMMENTS Planning Commission Representative, Edward Cohen, was present and indicated that he had no comments at this time.
