MINUTES OF THE ORONO COUNCIL MEETING OF SEPTEMBER 25, 1989 <br />COUNTY ROAD 116 CONTINUED <br />striping of a separate bike path. ',erhardson said that the <br />shoulder would allow for joint use. Bernhardson noted that it <br />would cost approximately $19,000.00 to construct a detached bike <br />path. <br />Acting Mayor Callahan said that it ppeared to him that <br />there would be some budget constraints. <br />Councilmember Goetten questioned whether money would be <br />returned to the City if the right-of-way cost was less than <br />estimated. <br />Bernhardson said yes, the City's share of the cost would be <br />less if the right-of-way costs were less than $130,000.00. Mr. <br />Polaczyk rioted that the right-of-way cost could also increase, <br />which in turn would increase the City's cost. <br />It was moved by Acting Mayor Callahan, seconded by <br />Councilmember Nettles, to table this matter until the next <br />Council meeting and to .direct staff to draft a resolution <br />including the cost to the City of Orono for the right-of-way. <br />Motion, Ayes=4, Nays=O, Motion passed. <br />CGNSENT AGENDA* <br />It was moved by Councilmember Goetten, seconded by <br />Councilmember Peterson, to approve the Consent Agenda. Motion, <br />Ayes=4, Nays=O, Motion passed. <br />APPPROVAL OF MINUTES* <br />It was moved by Councilmember Goetten, seconded by <br />Councilmember Peterson, to approve the Minutes of the September <br />11, 1989 Regular Council Meeting. Motion, Ayes=4, Nays=O, Mction <br />passed. <br />PLANNING COMMISSION COMMENTS <br />Planning Commission Representative, Edward Cohen, was <br />present and indicated that he had no comments at this time. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />There were no comments from the Public. <br />ZONING ADMINISTRATOR'S REPORT: <br />#1306 METROPOLITAN WASTE CONTROL COMMISSION <br />3286 NORTH SHORE DRIVE <br />CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br />AMENDMENT OF FILING DEADLINE <br />RESOLPT IN #2700* <br />I, s moved by Councilmember Goetten, seconded ty <br />Counc er Peterson, to adopt Resolution #2700 amending <br />Resoiu 511.
