` <br />F _ <br />'I <br />November S, 1974 <br />545 Indian Mound <br />Wayzata Minnesota 55391 <br />(612) 473-42'4 Soto <br />Raskob Construction <br />14816 County Road 6 <br />Minneapolis, Minnesota 55441 <br />Re: Percolation test - Orono <br />Dear Mr. Raskob: <br />On November 6 and 7, 1974 percolation tests were run on <br />Lot 6 of Johnston's rearrangement of Albee's Long Lake <br />Addition property in Orono at locations shown on the <br />enclosed sketch map. <br />Tests consisted of one soils boring to eight feet in <br />depth and six holes 24 to 36 inches in depth. Soils <br />encountered were: top soil, brown clay, brown sandy <br />clay, and red brown clay. No water was observed. <br />• Percolation rates averaged 26 minutes per inch. At <br />this rate the drain field required is 234 square feet <br />• for each proposed bedroom. Suggested alternate drain <br />field sites are shown. tie would recommend use of the <br />area southwest of the proposed house as the first <br />alternative. <br />Tho proposed primary drain Meld has its upper and east <br />side approximately two feet below the proposed house <br />whilatha lower end is apprr '-ely six feet below the <br />proposed house level. <br />The stated percolation rat n average of rates at <br />the locations shown and no —rantee is implied or <br />expressed that these conditYor,:; exist for the entire <br />proposed drain field area. <br />If we can be of further assls'anc., please advise. <br />Sincerely, <br />E.
