� <br /> RESOLUTION # 1064 <br /> A RESOLUTIOYI REnUESTING <br /> NORTH MEMORIAL AMBULANCE SERVICE <br /> WHEREAS, the: City of Orono recognizes a need for advanced <br /> life support services in emergency medical services. North Memorial <br /> Ambulance has been our primary provider, and <br /> � WHEREAS�, our fire and police services are trained to give <br /> � basic life support services, but North Memorial Ambulance Service <br /> is the closest advanced life support to this community, and <br /> WHEREAS, North Memorial Ambizlance Service has the backup <br /> capabilities of six advanced life support units, trained paramedics, <br /> chaplin services, training capabilities for our police and fire <br /> services, and an experienced, well trained emergency staff. <br /> PdOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of <br /> the City of Orono formally requests the State Board of Health and <br /> � the State Hearing Examiner to grant Pdorth Memorial Ambulance Service, <br /> as a primary provider, a license for a base of operations in Long <br /> Lake,Minnesota. � <br /> ADOPTED BY THE City Council of the City of Orono, l�Zinnesota at a <br /> regular meeting held August 14, 1979. <br /> [ il iam B.
