After <br />receiving complaints regarding the unsafe condition of the <br />occupied building, staff conducted an inspection which revealed <br />that the building is in a damaged and deteriorated stat^_, is in <br />ar, unsafe condition and has structural deficiencies which <br />constitutes a define hazard. Major items of concern by staff are <br />as follows: <br />House - <br />1. Failing foundation and improper beam support. <br />2. Leaking roof causing extensive water damage. <br />3. Improper electrical wiring. <br />4. Improperly installed wood stove. <br />Garage - <br />1. Garage has been damaged by fire. <br />2. Rotted walls and a collapsing roof. <br />There are four options that can be taken• <br />1. Table proceedings. <br />2. Adopt resolution as written. <br />3. Adopt resolution with amendments. <br />4. Deny resolution. <br />Staff recommends adopting resolution as is and commencing <br />with Hazardous Building Proceedings. <br />
