Mabusth, Building & Zoning AdmirK6lz-d0F4ROW <br />Date: September 21, 1989 <br />Subject: #1440 1st National Bank of the Lakes, <br />2445 Shadywood Road - Commercial Site Plan Review - <br />Pertinent Ordinance - <br />Section 10.43, Subdivision 2 - "Application." - Commercial <br />site plan review and approval required for expansion of <br />drive-in facility. <br />Additional Exhibits - <br />Exhibit I - Topographic Detail for 1st National Bank of the <br />Lakes <br />Exhibit J - Site Plan dated 8/30/89 <br />Review of Application - <br />Application #1410 was originally accepted as a renewal <br />variance pertaining to a canopy that was proposed located in the <br />south side yard requiring a setback variance. The canopy <br />proposal has been withdrawn. The applicant seeks merely approval <br />of a commercial site plan review for the expansion of the drive- <br />in lanes from 1 to 2 along the south side of the property in <br />addition to installing a neamatic drive-in window for the new <br />lane. Staff has received no negative comments from the most <br />affected adjacent property owner. The Planning Commission <br />unanimously approved the proposed expansion, to two lanes subject <br />to the amended plans received for t",,s review entitled <br />"Topographic Detail" and site plan revised 8/30/89 (Exhibits I & <br />J). <br />The Planning Commission approval was conditioned on the <br />following: <br />1. Applicant has agreed to provide tire stops at each <br />pp -king stall in the rear parking area. <br />2. Fire lane to be posted with appropriate signage on the <br />north si4e of the building. <br />3. Piov.Lue signage at southwest corner of bank giving <br />direction to the users of the teller lanes. <br />4. Relocate gas meter on the south side of the building to <br />a location approved by the City Inspector. <br />5. Upon application for a building permit for the neLunatic <br />drive-in banking system, applicant shall provide a typical <br />driveway section for the new driveway are on the south side <br />of the property. <br />6. Curbing and new retaining wall approved per topographic <br />detail section plans submitted for this review by Mark <br />Gronberg of Coffin & Gronberg Inc. <br />
