GENERAL INFORMATION <br />_WfAlim <br />The City of Orono, encompassing about 15,700 acres (consisting of 7,900 acres of <br />land, 3,600 acres of water, and 4,200 acres of marshland) and an estimated <br />oopalation of 7,379, is located on the northern shore of Lake Minnetonka, <br />approximately 15 miles west of Minneapolis on U.S. Highway No. 12. <br />FAI &V 1 �'r ► M <br />The G;c�, of Orono is primarily a residential community with a complement of <br />commercial and industrial activity, including a variety of retail ayd service <br />businea:Ps.
