The <br />Orono Fire Department provides fire suppression service for the remainder of the City and supports Police with public safety within Orono. Beginning 2026, a <br />joint power agreement fire department is anticipated to go into effect. <br />OPERATING COST ACTIVITIES: <br />* Professional Services includes fire service contract with new fire department. <br />25 <br />
