• <br /> xESOLUTZOr1 #1033 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING TAKIPIG OF LAND BY EP�lINENT <br /> DOMAIN FOR PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR THE <br /> RING ROUTE PRQJECT 79-1 <br /> ' �aHEREAS, the City Council has ordered preparation of . <br /> a resolution authorizing taking of_ land by eminent dor.iain <br /> and the City Engineer has recomrnended the acquisition of land <br /> for public ric�ht-of-way purposes at the locations hereinafter <br /> specified, and it appears to the Council that it is necessary <br /> that the City acquire such lands, therefore <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono: <br /> l. That it is hereby determined that the taking of <br /> each of the tracts and parcels of_ land set forth in paragraph <br /> 3 hereof is necessary for the Public good in order that said <br /> tracts and parcels shall be devoted to public right-of-way. <br /> • 2. That the City shall take by right of eminent domain <br /> for public right-of-way purnoses the lands described in para- <br /> graph 3 hereof, and the City Attorney be hereby authorized <br /> and directed to commence proceedings in the District Court <br /> of Hennepin County for appointr.tent of Commissioners to c�eter- <br /> mine the damages,if any, sustairie.d by the respective owners <br /> of the parcels affected by such taking, as authorized by law, <br /> and <br /> 3.
