Additionally, they <br />have provided supporting documentation regarding Practical Difficulties (Exhibit C), they have <br />provided a written narrative (Exhibit B), and should be asked for additional testimony regarding the <br />application. <br /> <br />Planning Staff Practical Difficulty Analysis: Staff finds that the existing conditions (the <br />nonconforming size and depth of the lot and existing home location) may support the requested <br />setback variances. The request for variances to expand the 2nd story of the home over the existing <br />footprint appears to be reasonable, considering the location and orientation of the subject home, <br />the neighboring homes, and the substandard lot size.
