RESOLUTION # 1024 <br /> • <br /> A RESOLUTION DIRECTING THE ORONO PUBLIC WORKS ' <br /> DEPARTMENT TO PLACE NO PARKING SIGNS ON CERTAIN <br /> ? STREETS IN THE CITY OF ORONO. <br /> WHEREAS, because of present construction on Shoreline Dr. <br /> and North Shore Drive and, <br /> WHEREAS, this construction may encourage parking on City <br /> streets and, <br /> WHEREAS, the city streets involved are not adequate width <br /> to accommodate parking <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Orono Council does <br /> hereby direct the Orono Public Works Department to place no parking <br /> signs on the following streets in Orono: . <br /> l. Orono Orchard Rd. from Shoreline Drive to the Orono <br /> border. <br /> • 2. Fox Street from Orono Orchard Rd. to South Brown Rd. <br /> 3. Railroad Avenue from North Shore Drive to Central Ave. <br /> 4. Central Avenue from Shoreline Drive to South Brown Rd. <br /> 5. Dickenson Street from Orono Orchard Rd. to Russell Ave. <br /> 6. Orono Lane from Shoreline Drive eastward to the end of <br /> the street. � <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the no parking signs will remain <br /> in effect until the completion of the construction or until the Orono <br /> council directs the Public Works Department to remove them. <br /> This Resolution was adopted by the Orono City Council at a <br /> regular meeting on April 3, 1979. <br /> � � <br /> ' William B.
