RESOLUTION N0. 1012 - . • TAX FORFEIT LANDS RELEASE FOR SALE Member Brad Van Nest offered the following Resolution and moved its adoption: WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono has from time to time received from the County of Hennepin lists of lands in said municipality which became the property of the State of Minnesota, for non-payment of past real estate taxes; and WHEREAS, each parcel of land described in said lists have heretofore been classified by the Board of County Commissioners of Hennepin County, Minnesota as non-conservation land and the sale thereof has heretofore been authorized by said Board of County Commissioners; and WHEREAS, the City Council has received a request to authorize release for sale of one or more parcels of land described in said lists, • NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by said City Council, acting pursuant to Minnesota Statute 282, that the said classification by said Board of County Commissioners of each parcel of land described in said lists as non-conservation land be and the same is hereby approved, and that the sale of each such parcel of land be and the same is hereby approved, as fo�lows : Lot l, Block l, Rearrangement of Lots 42, 43 etc, W�//ac'c�'s �� (17-117-23 41 0001) is approved for sale to the ownez �t/'� '��"� of adjacent Lot 2 on the condition that all parcels under eommon ownership be legally combined for tax purposes as one residential parcel (combination of parcels 0001, 0002 and 0031) and that all outstanding special assessments shall be paid to the City according to the original levis therefore.
