• RESOLUTION No. 1004 <br /> AUTHORIZING TAKING OF LAND BY EMINENT <br /> DOPiIAIN FOR PUBLIC RIGHT-OF-WAY FOR THE <br /> RING ROUTE PROJECT 79-1 <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council has ordered preparation of <br /> a resolution authorizing taking of land �y eminent domain <br /> and the City Engineer has recommended the acquisition of land <br /> for public right-of-way purposes at the locations hereinafter <br /> specified, and it appears to the council that it is necessary <br /> that the city acquire such lands , therefore <br /> BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Orono: <br /> 1. That it is hereby determined that the taking of <br /> each of the tracts and parcels of land set forth in paragraph <br /> 3 hereof is necessary for the public good in order that said <br /> tracts and parcels shall be devoted to public right-of-way. <br /> 2 . That the city shall take by right of eminent domain <br /> for public right-of-way purposes the lands described in para- <br /> • graph 3 hereof, and the City Attorney be hereby authorized <br /> and directed to commence proceedings in the District Court <br /> of Hennepin County for appointment of Commissioners to deter- <br /> mine the damages, if any, sustained by the respective owners <br /> of the parcels affected by such taking, as authorized by law, <br /> and <br /> 3.
