MEMORANDUM <br />To; <br />From: <br />Date: <br />Re: <br />The Honorabio Mayor and City Council, City- of Orono <br />Turnham Road/Chippewa Lane Neighborhood <br />July 20, 1989 <br />Proposed Subdivision by Mary Petersen <br />Attached is a petition which has been signed by at least one <br />member of every household located on Tumham Road and Chippewa <br />Lane. We are unanimously opposed to the construction, and even <br />the potential construction, of a road connection to McCulley <br />Road. For the reasons stated in the peticion, we respectfully <br />request thit you require only the deuxcatior. ot Outlot A, which <br />will provide a cul-de-sac off McCulley Road. <br />Attached also for your review is a copy of a letter written by <br />one of our members to your City Attorney. The first part <br />relates to a matter which is no longer an issue because the <br />Planning Commission did not require the dedication of Outlot C <br />for a public street. The second part of the letter, however, <br />relates tO the issue of the through road dedication. We ask <br />that you consider those comments.
