Minutes <br />City Council Regular Meeting <br />Monday, June 23, 2025, 6:00 PM <br />City Council Chambers 2780 Kelley Parkway, Orono, MN 55356 <br />Mayor Tunheim called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m., followed by the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />ROLL CALL <br />Orono City Council members present: Mayor Bob Tunheim, City Council Members Alisa Benson, Steve <br />Persian, and Jacqueline Ricks. Members absent: Jon Schwingler. <br />Staff present were City Attorney Soren Mattick, City Administrator/Engineer Adam Edwards, Finance <br />Director Maggie Jin, and Parks and Facilities Superintendent Joe Ruthenberg. <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE <br />I ' ' M•1:1I Ito) ZM 4 01e117:1 <br />Ricks moved, Persian seconded, to approve the Agenda as submitted. Annual Performance Review of the City Administrator <br />This item was removedfrom the Consent Agenda <br />5. Hire Records Technician <br />Benson moved, Ricks seconded, to approve the Consent Agenda with item four removed. VOTE: <br />Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />4. Annual Performance Review of the City Administrator <br />Ricks moved, Benson seconded, to have another closed session as soon as possible to complete the <br />performance review of the City Administrator. VOTE: Ayes 4, Nays 0. <br />PRESENTATIONS <br />6. 2024 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report Presentation <br />Andy Berg of Abdo presented the results of the City's 2024 Audit. An unmodified or clean opinion was <br />presented, which is the highest possible. The City's unassigned general fund balance at the end of 2024 is <br />close to the target amount of 40 percent. Revenues and expenditures were close to budget. The City's <br />enterprise funds all had positive cash balances, except for the Cable Television Fund, despite some <br />transfers out for capital projects. <br />PUBLIC COMMENTS <br />There were no public comments. <br />PARKSREPORT <br />Page 1 of 3 <br />
