AGENDA ITEM <br />Date: July 14, 2025 <br />Title: Fireworks Display - July 19 <br />Presenter: Christine Lusian, City Clerk <br />Section: Consent Agenda <br />Purpose: <br />The purpose of this action item is to review fireworks display plans. <br />Item: 4 <br />2. License Applicant(s): <br />City code section 66-224(d) and (f)(2) requires city council review of special events requesting the <br />use of city land and involving fireworks. <br />J & M Displays completed an application to launch fireworks Saturday, July 19 from a floating <br />platform on Carman Bay for a wedding reception at 2800 Pheasant Rd. The fireworks will launch <br />at IOpm from the water just east of Narrows Bridge. Plans included with the application are <br />attached. <br />3. Staff Recommendation: <br />Staff from Administration, Community Development, Fire, Parks, and Police have reviewed and <br />approved the application. <br />COUNCIL ACTION REQUESTED <br />Review the fireworks display plans in Carman Bay for July 19. <br />Exhibits <br />A.
