RESOLUTION NO. 1013 <br />TAX FORFEIT LANDS <br />RELEASE FOR SALE <br />Member — Brad Van Nest __offered the following <br />Resolution and moved its adoption: <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orono has from <br />time to time received from the County of Hennepin lists of lands in <br />said municipality which became the property of the State of Minnesota, <br />for non-payment of past real estate taxes; and <br />WHEREAS, each parcel of land described in said lists have <br />heretofore been classified by the Board of County Commissioners of <br />Hennepin County, Minnesota as non -conservation land and the sale <br />thereof has heretofore been authorized by said Board of County <br />Commissioners; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has received a request to authorize <br />release for sale of one or more parcels of land described in said lists, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by said City Council, acting <br />pursuant to Minnesota Statute 282, that the said classification by <br />said Board of County Commissioners of each parcel of land described <br />in said lists as non -conservation land be and the same is hereby <br />approved, and that the sale of each such parcel of land be and the <br />same is hereby approved, as follows: <br />Lot 8, Block 3, Navarre Heights <br />Lot 9, Block 3, Navarre Heights <br />Are approved for sale to the owner of adjacent Lot 10, Block 3, <br />Navarre Heights; on the condition that all three (3) parcels be <br />legally combined for tax purposes as one residential parcel. <br />In addition, if Lot 10, Block 3, Navarre Heights, should still be listed <br />as state land because of tax forfeiture, the City Council specifically <br />approves the sale of said Lot 10 to t`-- purchaser of Lots 8 & 9 <br />according to the condition noted above. <br />All outstanding special assessments shall be paid in full to the City <br />according to the original levis therefore. <br />
