On May 27, 1(i68, it was resolved by Resolution <br />240 of the Council that the owner of this property should correct <br />the hazardous condition thereon. <br />You are familiar with the situation on this property as related <br />by Larry Skjei in his letter of May 23, 1968, to you. I have <br />spoken with Mr. Skjei on the phone, and he tells me that a <br />Clifford Bjork of Navarre has taken over possession as of May 31, <br />1968, with the intention of correcting the hazardous condition <br />thereon. If Mr. Bjork is truly willing to fix the property up, <br />I do not feel that we should start condemnation proceedings under <br />the 1965 hazardous building law until he has a chance to do so. <br />I suggest that you contact Mr. Bjork so that you might inspect <br />his restoration of the premises and see that it is done satisfactorily. <br />This matter will, therefore, be held in abeyance until further word <br />from you. <br />Yours ,rery truly, / <br />X.N all <br />DGN:sls <br />VILLAGE OF GRONO <br />
