A RESOLUTION GRANTING A � <br /> CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT <br /> PER MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE <br /> SECTION 78-418 <br /> FILE NO. 04-3000 <br /> WHEREAS, Wayzata Country Club, (hereinafter "the applicant") is the <br /> owner of the property located at 200 Wayzata Boulevard West within the City of Orono <br /> (hereinafter the"City") and legally described as follows: <br /> � See Attached Exhibit A <br /> (hereinafter the"property"); and <br /> • WHEREAS,the applicant has made application to the City of Orono for a <br /> conditional use permit amendment to Orono Municipal Zoning Code Section 78-418 to <br /> allow two minor additions to the existing building all in conjunction with a complete <br /> renovation of the main structure. • <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of <br /> Orono,Minnesota: <br /> FINDINGS <br /> 1. This application was reviewed as Zoning File#04-3000. <br /> 2. The property is located in the RR — 1B zoning district, which requires a <br /> minimum lot area of 2 acres. The applicant's property is in excess of 155 <br /> acres. <br /> 3. The Wayzata Country Club currently operates under a Conditional Use <br /> Permit originally granted in 1968 and amended on a number of occasions <br /> for various improvements. <br /> 4. The Planning Commission reviewed this application at a public hearing <br /> • held on April 19, 2004 and recommended approval of the conditional use <br /> permit amendment based on the following findings: <br /> Page 1 of 5 <br />
