Bike Safety Rodeo <br />The Orono Police Department, along with Our Lady of the Lake School and Mound Fire <br />Department, participated in the second annual Bike Safety Rodeo. A bike rodeo is a fun <br />way to introduce bicycle safety to kids and also gives them a chance to practice these <br />skills. The event was a great turnout. There were four stations that included an <br />obstacle course, bike maintenance checks, helmet fitting and hand signals <br />time to help the kids become better bicyclists. <br />Halloween Boo Blast and Local Celebrations <br />Lunds & Byerly's hosted a Boo Blast and Fall Festival at the <br />Navarre location. Kids arrived dressed in their costumes and <br />were greeted by employees, police officers and firefighters. <br />They participated in fun activities and definitely enjoyed their <br />treats! <br />.A_. <br />It was a fun <br />Orono officers also had the privilege of being guests at the Orono Woods Halloween <br />Celebration.
