9.0 ENGINEERING. <br />9.01 Introduction. <br />The City Engineer is responsible for all public engineering and construction projects within the City of Orono. Key <br />areas of responsibility include: Construction; Development of the Capital Improvement Plan (street, sanitary <br />sewer, water main, storm sewer, bridge, and trail improvements); Grading Permit/plan review; Infrastructure <br />Review of proposed Developments; Management of infrastructure; Planning; Project Development; and Surface <br />Water Resource Management. <br />9.02 Organization and Staff. <br />The engineering staff consists of the City Engineer and a contract for engineering services with Bolton and Menk, <br />Inc. <br />9.03 Project Management. <br />Efficiently manage the design and construction of city projects.
