7.04.02 Key Activities. <br />Holiday decorations consisting of flags, banners and lighted decorations are put on our street lights to display <br />holiday cheer, show support to our community, and honor our veterans. <br />7.05 Stormwater Maintenance. <br />The department's goal is to protect property and the natural environment from the effects of flooding and <br />pollution through proactive maintenance of the stormwater drainage system. Various ditching projects also <br />occurred though the summer and fall to improve drainage in areas of the city. <br />7.06 Sanitary Sewer Maintenance. <br />The department's goal is to provide a safe and efficient sanitary sewer collection system. The sanitary sewer <br />system consists of 329,728 feet of sewer main, 1238 Manholes, 46 Lift Stations, 19 Stationary Backup Generators <br />and 4 Portables serving 2253 customers. <br />27 <br />37 <br />
